Things people are almost too embarrassed to ask

These are real questions we get every week. Nobody here thinks they’re silly. Ask them out loud when you come in — or read them here first.

You are not the first person to ask.

“Will this get me high?”

No. Not from anything on that shelf. If you want the kind that does, that’s a different conversation and we can have it. Tell us which one you’re after and we’ll point you at the right side of the room.

“Is it legal?”

Yes — we’re a licensed Florida retailer and we only stock what we’re allowed to sell you. No card needed to walk in and buy hemp products. If your question is really about the medical program, we help with that too, downstairs in the details.

“I’m on a blood thinner. Is that a problem?”

That one’s for your doctor or your pharmacist, and we’d rather you ask them before you buy anything. Bring your list of medications in and we’ll show you exactly what’s in the bottle so you have something concrete to take to them.

Ask them first. We’ll still be here.

“How is this different from what they sell at the gas station?”

Because we can show you the paperwork. Every brand here supplies a current lab report tied to the actual batch, from a lab with no stake in the brand. If a company won’t send that sheet, it doesn’t get shelf space.

“How much do I take?”

Start small, stay there a few days, write down what you notice. That’s the whole method. We’ll go through the dropper with you at the counter so you know what a serving actually looks like in your hand.

“My dog is fourteen and can’t do the stairs. Is there anything?”

We carry pet products and plenty of people come in asking about their older dogs. Talk to your vet first, then come and tell us his weight and what he’ll actually eat. Bring him in if he likes a car ride.

“I’ve never done anything like this before and I feel a bit silly.”

Half the people who come through that door say some version of that, usually in a lower voice. Sit down, ask the daft questions, take the twenty minutes. Nobody is going to sell you anything you don’t understand.

Or call and ask: (239) 331-4807

On the shelves

What we carry, and who asks about it

Four shelves, roughly. No prices here and no menu — what you want is the conversation about which one suits you, and that happens in person.

Tinctures

The shelf most first-timers end up at. We’ll show you the dropper, explain what a serving is, and write the starting amount on the box in pen.

Edibles

For people who don’t want to think about a dropper. The conversation here is mostly about timing and reading the label properly — we’ll do that part together.

Topicals

Balms, salves and rubs. Customers who don’t want to swallow anything at all usually start here. Try a bit on the back of your hand before you decide.

Pet products

Usually the softest conversation of the day, and usually about an old dog. Speak to your vet, then come and tell us his weight. Dogs are welcome in the shop.

Before you come in

This is what you’ll walk into

Small shop, couches, a flag on the wall and someone who’ll actually talk to you. Nothing clinical about it.

Why we say no to brands

What Hans reads before he stocks anything

A Certificate of Analysis is a lab’s report on one specific batch. Current, batch-specific, and from a lab that doesn’t own a piece of the brand — or it doesn’t come in the door. That’s the whole standard.

Ask at the counter and we’ll pull the sheet for whatever you’re holding and read it with you, line by line, until it makes sense.

If they won’t send the sheet, that’s the answer.

Blank on purpose — this shows you the shape of the document, not a real result.

Every value left blank. Real sheets live behind the counter.

Meet Hans

He’d rather teach you than sell you something

Hans owns the shop and he’s usually in it. If you come in with a question, you get the walkthrough: what the categories are, what the label means, what the lab sheet says, and what to expect from the first week. If nothing here suits you, he’ll tell you that too.

There’s a studio in the same space, and classes and Saturday presentations run out of it. Plenty of people come by just for those.

For healthcare practitioners

If you send patients to us, we’ll give you something to hand them

Chiropractors, physical therapists and physicians in the area already refer people here. We keep printed education material for waiting rooms, and Hans is happy to walk you through what’s on the shelf and what documentation we hold on it.

Call the shop, or send a note and we’ll get back to you.
